The interest of sustainable and healthy diets within healthcare continues to grow and we will take a closer look at the impact our diet has on our environment, ask why our behaviour is so often at odds to the natural world upon which we depend and offer evidence-based solutions for consideration. Ireland’s first medical conference exploring the exciting possibilities of plant-based nutrition to prevent, treat and possibly reverse common chronic diseases. There will be talks by medical experts in the field of cancer, diabetes, inflammatory bowel disease and cardiovascular disease. Experienced Irish GPs will share their knowledge of what plant based nutrition looks like in primary care and how it works in practice.

Plant-Based Doctors Ireland will be attending the Dublin Vegfest this year. We will have a stand in the main events space and Dr Sean Owens will be giving a talk on “Plant-Based Medicine in Ireland: Challenges and Opportunities”. Be sure to visit us at our stand and attend Sean’s talk on the 23rd!

This first UK conference to highlight the role of whole food plant-based nutrition in the prevention and reversal of diseases caused by lifestyle. The main purpose is to bring together health professionals and share the most up to date information in the field of nutrition.
